The purpose of the Third Order of St. Andrew is threefold: (1) to increase faith and devotion to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in our individual lives; (2) to share in the spiritual life of the community through daily intercessory prayers; and (3) to support the Order financially. Members of the Third Order will be known as Associates.

Domine, Dirige Nos (Lord, Direct Us). The motto of the Order of Saint Andrew applies to the Third Order Associates as well.

An Associate must be at least 18 years of age and a communicant in good standing of a Christian Church. An annual $20.00 donation is required to offset printing and postage expenses.

Associates will: (1) observe Sundays and Holy Days; (2) receive Holy Communion, when offered; (3) read Holy Scripture daily, and (4) set aside a specific time each day for prayer and meditation.

(1) a quarterly intercessory prayer booklet; (2) a pin denoting membership; (3) invitations to attend annual Chapter Meetings and Retreats of the Order of St. Andrew; (4) assistance of professed members of the Order in your ministry and prayer life; and (5) a copy of CARITAS, the Order's quarterly newsletter.

Third Order Associates agree to accept the Apostles' Creed as their statement of faith.
